So now that I'm 100% positive it isn't going to result in further charges, I have a story to tell.
Black Lives Matter was camped out in front of Gov. Dayton's taxpayer funded mansion and had rioted the night before. A sniper had shot police in Dallas and tensions were pretty high. The police in that area are notorious for abusing the good people and the good people are all reformed law abiding citizens who were turning their lives around and you're a racist if you don't believe it.
I and a group of like minded people decided to mosey on down and see what was happening. True to form, the leadership of BLM was standing on milk crates with a megaphone saying "so some cops got shot. These things happen and are going to keep happening until no black person is shot by police for any reason ever."
Immediately upon spotting us, the leader who they called their queen began accusing us of being white supremacists, called us terrorists and accused us of having guns. They had no idea but were attempting to bump into us to feel for them. We got surrounded in a pathetic way by black panthers and they were obviously afraid of us (probably because we weren't afraid.). So true to form, the woman advocating and encouraging the murder of police officers ran to the popo to tattle. We decided we gathered all the info that was going to be forthcoming and walked a few blocks away to a conspicuously located adjacent looting alley and decided to hang out and probably go to Jimmy Johns. About 5 minutes later we were surrounded by about 20 cops, maybe more. Several of us were disarmed and handcuffed. While running our info and demanding we not record the incident, the Sergeant on duty arrived and began returning weapons to those of us disarmed. It is important to note that one of us was NOT disarmed and had 2 pistols on him and was actually in a very advantageous position. The Sergeant then thanked me for carrying and ordered all the officers to form a line and block the view of BLM, who had gathered on the opposite sidewalk, and returned all our weapons. Since he apparently was very in control of his officers and didn't care about my lack of reciprocity, I decided to open carry the rest of the night.
I have jpegs but can't get them to upload with this tablet PC...
